Personal Information
- Full name and date of birth
- Aadhaar card number (last 4 digits stored; full number used only for KYC)
- PAN card number (for KYC verification)
- Mobile number (registered with FASTag)
- Email address (optional)
- Passport-size photograph
Vehicle Information
- Vehicle Registration Number (VRN)
- Vehicle Registration Certificate (RC) details
- Vehicle class, make, and model
- Chassis/VIN number
Communication Data
- WhatsApp messages and documents shared with us
- Transaction and service request history
2. How We Use Your Information
- To process and issue SBI FASTag on your behalf
- To complete KYC verification with SBI and NPCI
- To update your FASTag account details
- To communicate service status and updates
- To resolve disputes and address support queries
- To comply with legal and regulatory requirements of NHAI, RBI, and NPCI
We do not use your information for unsolicited marketing, sell it to third parties, or share it beyond what is required for SBI FASTag processing.
3. WhatsApp Communication
Our primary communication channel is WhatsApp. When you contact us via WhatsApp, your messages, photos, and documents are transmitted through WhatsApp's infrastructure (Meta Platforms, Inc.). We recommend not sharing sensitive financial credentials (passwords, PINs) over WhatsApp. Documents shared are used solely for FASTag processing and are not stored beyond the service completion period.
4. Data Sharing
Your personal and vehicle information is shared with the following parties only as required:
- State Bank of India (SBI) — For FASTag issuance and account management
- NPCI / NETC — For toll collection system registration
- NHAI / iHMCL — For vehicle registration verification via VAHAN
We do not share your data with any private third-party companies, advertisers, or data brokers.
5. Data Security
We take reasonable steps to protect your personal information:
- Physical documents are handled only by authorized staff
- Digital copies are stored on secured devices with access controls
- Customer data is deleted from our systems after service completion and a 90-day retention period for dispute resolution
- We do not store full Aadhaar numbers, bank account numbers, or passwords
6. Cookies and Website Data
Our website myfastag.in does not use tracking cookies or third-party analytics. The only data processed on your device is local browser storage for functionality (such as session handling). We do not track your browsing behaviour across other websites.
7. Your Rights
Under applicable Indian data protection laws, you have the right to:
- Request access to the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data after service completion
- Withdraw consent for communications at any time

8. Children's Privacy
Our services are not directed to individuals under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe a minor has submitted information to us, please contact us immediately.
PART B — Refund Policy
9. Refund Eligibility
We offer refunds under the following circumstances:

10. Non-Refundable Items
- Service fees for completed FASTag issuance or updates
- FASTag wallet recharge amounts (these remain in your SBI FASTag wallet)
- Toll charges or NHAI penalties deducted from your wallet
- Service fees where the application was rejected due to incorrect/fraudulent documents submitted by you
11. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, contact us within 7 days of the service date:

Provide your name, vehicle registration number, transaction reference, and reason for refund. We will respond within 2 business days.
